I like using crossfading, it's just great except that it messes up my speaker volume: the volume is like 30% weaker when I use it, I have to constantly raise the master volume and after each song change, i.e last or next song, I do have to raise the volume again.... ARGGggggg....
Reading the forum, some posts say that it must be set with direct sound ... BUT in the playback section of plug ins it is crossfading OR direct sound or wave out. I'm on win XP SP3 & QMP V5.0 b121. |

Under preferences -> Plug-ins-> Playback -> Choose configure for the crossfading plug-in. On the settings page, remove the mark next to "Adjust volume on primary buffer".
Now set QMP's volume to 100%. Wave volume (system volume) shouldn't follow QMP volume any more.
