This plugin simply does not work. It'd be better if you pulled it until you get a usable one. The winamp plugin works perfectly. Just FYI for anyone looking for a usable flac player.

Works perfectly. No muss, no fuss. What's with the complaints? I didn't have to do a thing more than run the installer.

This thing sucks! What a mistake downloading it. FLAC was working fine before with the old plugin I had. Now I get gaps in the music every couple seconds and for some reason now my old flac plugin won't work when I try to put it back. What a mess! Keep the old plugin you have for FLAC if you have it. If not wait until they pull this one and put back the old one or one that works.

My satisfaction with this plugin depends on what playback plugin I'm using. It Works fine with the crossfading plugin but skips with the other two; the buffer won't stay full and it produces a constant crackling. Makes every flac file unlistenable.

The "1.1.0.g" release of this plugin is broken. It truncates the last part of songs and also will pause to catcha breath on highly compressed flacs. I'm giving it 50 out of 100 because I'm sure Shaohao will fix it.

1.1.0g of this plug-in is broken. If u have an older version stick with it untill Shaohao updates this one, which i'm sure he will do. (i'm leaving my rating as it is because i'll probably forget or something when it is updated!) Also despite what people say it doesn't require any other DLL's. Use cases FLAC plugin instead.

The QMPMP4.dll doesn't work, hope this one does!

great work, I used to listen to flac files with the dBpowerAMP plugin, and it was a nightmare...

You need to move the QMPFLAC.dll file into the Plugins folder under Quintessential Player folder. It was installed in the Quintessential Media Player folder for some strange reason. As soon as I moved it into the plugin folder and opened QCP and then the plugin browser, there it was and it was ticked and plays my FLAC files just great.

Working great with latest build of QMP. Only small problem is that it displays the bitrate as 0kbps.
 cole on May 16th, 2007 2:37am Rating: 100
It works perfectly here... I use QMP b117. And I have info about bitrate...

This plugin has a much lower user rating than it deserves. Thanks for continuing to maintain this great plugin :).

Thanks a lot shaohao.. This plugin works with QMP 119 !

That's the best FLAC Plugin for QCD ever... Actually ID3-Tags from these filetypes are supported...
 Katt on December 28th, 2007 2:37pm Rating: 100
Works like a charm! Plays my FLAC-files, reads the tags, writes tags and is 100% compatible with the tageditor/autotag/renamer etc.

Shaohao can we please have it for version 120 please? Sorry to rate it 0 as I could never experience it with build version 120 Thanks....

New build works perfectly with B120. As before, all functions just work the way they're supposed to. Thanks for the update Shaohao.

Working like a charm only with QMP not with QCD 4.50+.
